Form of intuition/
Form of intuition is a tapestry inspired by the path of light, investigating the relationship between light, volumes and space and researching a relationship with its surroundings through its surface and shape.
Form of intuition combines mat and shiny yarns in different proportions, with different piles heights and volumes that respond to the diverse lighting condition and light' s height; this creates a change in the perception of the volumes, textures and shape throughout the day. The shiny yarns are left uncut and have all a slightly different length to better reflect light give a subtle shimmering effect onto its surface.
Form of intuition is hand tufted by the Textil Lab of the Textile Museum Tilburg, The Netherlands.
